Russia-Ukraine War: Amidst the intense fighting at the Bakhmut frontline, numerous Ukrainians took to Twitter to bow to the valour of the troops that have been selflessly taking over the Russian forces. The videos of the troops resting in trenches, filled with mud and water, have been circulating online, which left the Ukrainian citizens filled with emotions and pride.
At the same time, the plight of Bakhmut is being compared, for it being as similar as it was during World War 1, calling it the Passchendaele of the 21st century.
Earlier, it was claimed that the Russian forces had issued an ultimatum to the Ukrainian forces to surrender until November 27th. However, claims turned out to be fake. The Ukrainian forces have never looked like the ones to surrender in the entire war against Russia.
Currently, intense fighting has been going on in the Bakhmut region. The Russian forces have continued with their artillery strikes over the entire region. Despite all the odds, the Ukrainian troops have held their heads high and have kept the city under their control.
While the civilians of Ukraine have been struggling with the outages of electricity, heat and network, the troops continue to defy all odds. The citizens have sent out their prayers for their long lives and glory.
It has been more than nine months since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began. Even after the unimaginable loss of lives and property, the war continues to ensue in full swing, with no end visible nearby.
