Castries, Saint Lucia: The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Ernest Hilaire, updated about the progress on the ongoing rehabilitation works being carried out in Ciceron Playing Field, which according to him are ‘well underway’.
As Hilaire updated in his Facebook update, “Grass was planted on the surface over the weekend. Further, WASCO is processing the establishment of a water connection to the field for irrigation and all the supporting services.
As the Government of Saint Lucia envisages, with the latest upgradation in the Ciceron Playing Field, the citizens will receive a well developed and modern facility for sports, youth engagement and the development of the community.
Hilaire further added that this is just one of the many development projects that are going on in Saint Lucia, and he looks forward to the quickest accomplishment of this project and handing it over to the public.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia has been keenly inclined towards the holistic upliftment of the country by leading from the front. Earlier on January 26, 2023, Hilaire visited various sites with ongoing rehabilitation projects, including Ciceron Playing Field and steps and footpaths in La Croix.
Notably, the works on the Ciceron Playing field includes levelling the playing surface, installing lights, and Construction of a changing facility along with an outdoor gym. He further added –“Looking forward to having an up to date facility in Ciceron.”
