Cannes Film Festival 2023: In a star-studded premiere of Wes Anderson’s ‘ Asteroid City’, Maya Hawke and Rita Wilson conquered the spotlight as they danced off on the red carpet, leaving the spectators delighted.

The premiere marked the presence of the stellar cast of the film, including Rupert Friend, Tom Hanks, Alexandre Desplat, Bryan Cranston, Director Wes Anderson, Adrien Brody, Scarlett Johansson, and Matt Dillon.
Maya Hawke donned the Prada olive green tec satin dress that had a distinctive neckline and a structured skirt, that perfectly captured the 50’s fashion dynamics, which certainly looked stunning for the premiere event.
The ‘Do Revenge’ actress paired it with 80’s heavy makeup and 90’s hairstyle that further complemented her look. Hawke also turned to Prada’s white 60’s boots and blue leather gloves for that perfect retro look.
At the same time, Rita Wilson decked up in a dazzling black gown adorned with silver gems and a long black sweeping cape, which at some point outshined Tom Hanks, according to many of her fans.
About the movie ‘Asteroid City’
The movie premiere of Asteroid City at Cannes received a 6-minute long-standing haul from the audience, with positive notices buzzing all around. Wen Anderson’s much-awaited science-fiction comedy movie has been set up in fictional American village in the backdrop of the 1950s era.
The plot revolves around an alien interrupting a group of child geniuses, forcing them to be quarantined.
Meanwhile, the movie is said to be inspired by the Covid lockdown events. As Anderson said, the movie was written during the lockdown, and how things were going to roll was a big question back then.
After the success of the premiere, Asteroid City is now gearing up for its theatrical release worldiwde.
