Georgia: The Youth Agency of Georgia has launched an announcement for the “Supporting Youth Initiatives (SSIP)” grant competition focused on regional youth empowerment. The 255,000 GEL funding enables the initiative to bolster grassroots initiatives which develop non-formal education systems and grow youth involvement in society while supporting their professional development.
The initiative supports youth organizations which hold official registration as well as registered assemblies of at least five individuals. Through direct financial support of up to 15,000 GEL the agency intends to establish meaningful possibilities for youth activism in community development.
Goals for the Grant Competition
The competition utilizes essential developmental areas to deliver its objectives. The organization makes expanding non-formal education access to youth their main goal while offering educational experiences outside standard academic institutions. Through its initiatives the project works to develop civic and democratic engagement through implementation of youth-driven decisions and community projects.
Through its grant program the organization works to provide funds that enable young people to acquire essential career development skills as well as employment resources for improved professional opportunities.

The application period for the competition extends until April 8, 2025. Organizations together with initiative groups should send their proposals through grants-2@youthagency.gov.ge email address.
