The Acting Head of the Youth Agency, Vakhtang Baakashvili presented the report of last year work. He presented this report at the external meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Science and Youth Affairs.
It is also worth to note that the acting Head of the Youth Agency, Vakhtang Baakashvili while presenting the Agency’s 2024 Program Report also presented the 2025 Action Plan. The head of agency while presenting the report on this occasion said, this is our duty to ensure transparency in working of our organisation. This presentation of last year works is our efforts in this direction as well.
Moreover, speaking on thematic areas, he focused on such important issues. Some of the important issues raised by the head of agency includes promoting the strengthening of youth organizations, supporting the development of youth capabilities, developing participatory youth policies.
At the same he also shed light on the issues which includes strengthening international cooperation, promoting the implementation of youth festivals, introducing and supporting the profession of youth worker, promoting the implementation of youth camps and supporting the development of youth centres and spaces.
It is also worth noting that that on this special occasion of presentation of the report, Vakhtang Baakashvili answered questions from deputies. At the end of the session, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Science and Youth Affairs, Givi Mikanadze, evaluated the report thanked the Youth Agency team and wished them success.
It is also to be added that since the beginning the agency has launched many projects and programmes which are very important for the overall growth of youth of country as well.
The acting head of the agency while speaking further said that this is not the first time when agency is disclosing the previous year performance. In the last year same kind of presentation were held there and moreover such presentation will also be held in future.
