The Chairman of the Adjara Government, Zurab Pataradze, and the Minister of Infrastructure of Georgia, Revaz Sokhadze, discussed the ongoing and planned infrastructure projects and development priorities in the region.
Along with the Chairman of the Adjara Government, Zurab Pataradze, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Adjara, the representatives of the Adjarian Government, and the Ministry of Infrastructures of Georgia were also present there. They all visited the Batumi coastline and reviewed the seaside area in Measures planned to renew the infrastructure.

The parties discussed road, sports, educational, and urban development directions. The discussion was about the rehabilitation of Batumi Boulevard, the renewal of Lake Ardagan, the construction of schools and kindergartens, the development of sports infrastructure, and the urban renewal projects in Batumi. Current large-scale infrastructure projects in Batumi and highland Adjara were discussed in detail.
“Within the meeting with the Minister of Infrastructure of Georgia, we discussed all important infrastructural projects in the region.” Also, we talked in detail about Batumi Boulevard and coastal infrastructure development issues. We visited the area of Lake Ardagan, where there is a large-scale rehabilitation work planned, and we also plan to arrange the “Magnolia” project. At the meeting, special attention was given to educational and sports infrastructure development; the construction of new kindergartens, schools, rugby fields, and multifunctional sports complexes will continue actively,” said Zurab Pataradze.
The meeting noted that the coordinated work of the central and regional governments will further notice the infrastructural development of Adjara, which will contribute significantly to the economic empowerment of the region and improve the quality of life of the population.
