Tbilisi: With the financial support of the National Wine Agency and the organization of the Association Georgian Wine, 25 companies of Georgian wine participated in the exhibition “ProWein 2023” in Dusseldorf, Germany.
At one of the most important international exhibitions of wine and alcoholic beverages in the world, for three days, there was a special crowd at the Georgian stand. The Wine production experts and professionals, media representatives and exhibition guests had the opportunity to taste Georgian wine and hold business negotiations with Georgian producers.
During the exhibition, the representatives of the National Wine Agency held business meetings with representatives of the commercial sector, media and marketing companies of the National wine agency.
“The main goal of the National Wine Agency is to diversify wine export markets and to increase the popularization of Georgian wine in strategic markets.” Participation in ProWein 2023, the most important exhibition in the world wine industry for Georgian wine companies benefit from an enhanced global exposure to the Georgian winery products.
“ProWein” is one of the best opportunities to attract trading partners, expand export markets and, consequently, increase wine sales. That is why the state is encouraging wine companies to participate in exhibitions of international importance,” Tamar Metreveli, head of marketing and public relations department of the National Wine Agency, said.
It is noteworthy that Georgian wine tasting seminar was held within the framework of the exhibition “ProWein-2023”, at the prestigious German Media Holding’s “Meininger” stand, which was led by sommelier and wine expert Inge Mainzer. And, at the Californian wines stand, a joint tasting of Georgian and Californian wines was held.
The exhibition was attended by Georgian Consul General in the Federal Republic of Germany, Giorgi Tabatadze.
