As a result of the rocket attack on the city of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region of Ukraine, the number of dead has increased to 15. The information is disseminated by the Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine.
During the search operation, the rescuers pulled out five injured people from the ruins.
“As of July 10 at 1:00 p.m., 15 people were killed and five injured as a result of a rocket attack on a 5-story residential building in Chasiv Yar,” the statement reads.
Sixty-seven rescuers are involved in clearing the place from the ruins and in the search work.
On the evening of July 9, Russia launched a missile attack on the city of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region.
Two entrances to the residential building were completely destroyed. Rescuers are still searching for people in ruins.
Emergency services said that 34 more people are believed to be trapped in the rubble, including a 9-year-old child.

According to Pavel Kirilenko, head of the military administration of the Donetsk region, six bodies of the dead and five wounded have been removed so far.Â
According to Kirilenko, the rescuers were able to contact two people who remained in ruins.Â
The head of the district administration says that a Russian missile “Karishkhali” was fired at the residential building.Â
During that same time, the separatist regime in Donetsk reported three dead and 11 wounded in the last 24 hours as a result of shootings.Â
In addition to Chasiv Yar, Kirilenko announced on July 9 about attacks by Russian aggressors in other cities – St. Mariinke, Konstantinovka and Pereezdnoye, where several people were also killed.Â
