Tbilisi: The Elizbar Eristavi Energy Training Center near Semek held a presentation of the results of the project “Identification of the level of awareness on regulation of electricity, natural gas and water supply sector and conducting a needs survey”. Friedrich Ebert Foundation is a partner of the project.

 The goal of the project – “Establishing the level of awareness on regulation issues in the electricity, natural gas and water supply sectors and implementation of needs research” is to study needs in the energy and water supply sectors – level of awareness in terms of regulation, highlighting specific needs of different target audiences and raising awareness in this regard.

B.I. Demonstration of effective mechanisms for deepening professional qualifications. Within the framework of the project, the research was carried out in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi and Mtskheta municipalities.

 With the implementation of the project, there was an effective and stable opportunity for identifying major trends, problems, current issues in the energy and water supply sector, on the basis of which a recommendation action plan for mechanisms to increase the level of information was developed.

 The aim of the Elizbar Eristavi Energy Training Center with the National Commission for Energy and Water Supply of Georgia is to raise public awareness about current issues in electricity, natural gas and water supply sectors, to promote professional development and qualification of employees and other interested persons Implementation of virtual learning courses/programs. 

Prioritizing activities and activities, exchanging experience and knowledge among stakeholders, conducting surveys, preparing scientific-educational projects, building an information base and organizing thematic conferences. Different training courses are being held at the center at this time.
