Tea Tsulukiani, The Georgian Minster of Culture, sports, and Youth, is currently on school visiting tours. Recently, she visited the active Salotbar School in the Kakheti Region of the Country. The school where she visited is the Salotbar School of State Folklore Centre, which is named after the SP Anzor Eerkomaishvili in Kvareli and Telavi.
It is specifically mentioned that during her visit to Salotbar school, she was accompanied by Giorgi Donadze. Giorgi Donadze is the director of the State Folklore Centre. Deputy director of the folklore centre, Giorgi Gabunia, was also visiting the school with the minister.
Minister met at the school with the Beqa Bidziniashvili, the head of the Telavi saluting school and Irakli(Ushangi) Matiashvili. She also met with the students and representatives of the saluting school.
It is worth mentioning that kvarli school was opened in the year 2015, and currently, 30 students are enrolled in the school as per the information provided by Beqa Bidzinashvivli.
The meeting of the minister came at the time when Geogia was heading towards the EU integration, and Georgia was initiating many efforts for the upscaling of the level of school education as per the European educational standards.
The minister in the school got information about the creativity of school children. He also asked the school management about any requirements and problems that needed immediate attention.
The minister, along with his accompanying members, also discussed the future plans of the ministry.
Moreover, the minister also thanked the management of the school for uplifting Georgian Folklore and their hard work and dedication.
School management apprised the minister of the available facilities of at the school. The school representative also spoke about how the school is doing its best for the upliftment of Georgian Folklore with innovative ideas and policies.
School pupils also gave a musical performance to give a grand welcome to Minister Listen. She listened problems and grievances of the staff members carefully and assured them that she would do her best for the promotion of Georgian folklore in the region as well as across the boundary of Georgia.
She also spoke on the policies of the government at different levels that will play a significant role in the preservation and promotion of Georgian Folklore.
