The Weather Department of Georgia has released another report of expected weather in the coming days. This report covers the weather details from February 15 to February 17, 2024.
As per the initial reports light rain is expected in the capital city of Georgia, Tbilisi. The air temperature on February 15-16 will be between +12 and +14 degrees, and on February 17, it will decrease to +5 and +7 degrees.
In the coastal regions of Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, and Poti, rain and an air temperature between +12 and +14 are expected. Rain is also expected in the lower regions of western Georgia, including Kutaisi, Zestafoni, Zugdidi, Martvili, and Ozurgeti, with temperatures between +13 and +15 degrees.
In the mountainous regions of western Georgia which cover the Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, and Khulo, rain is expected while the air temperature will remain between +11 and +13 degrees.
Similarly in the highland regions of western Georgia, like Mestia, there could be snowfall in some areas and air temperature will be between +5 and +7 degrees.
On the other hand in Kartli regions of the country like Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneli, Gardabani, Gori, and Tskhinvali, it will rain in some places. The air temperature on February 15-16 will be +12 and +14 degrees and on February 17 it will decrease to +6 and +8 degrees.
In the Kakheti region comprising Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Signaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, and Dedoplistskaro It will rain in some parts. The air temperature on February 15-16 will be +12 and +14 degrees, and on February 17, it will decrease to +5 and +7 degrees.
In the mountainous regions of East Georgia which include areas like Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Fasanauri, and Dedoplistskaro it will rain in some parts on February 15-16 and on February 17 snowfall may also occur. The air temperature on February 15-16 will be +10 +12 degrees and on February 17 it will decrease to +6 +8 degrees.
