Georgia: The Ministry of Culture and Sports of Georgia congratulates the esteemed Mzia Arabuli on her 70th birthday. They express their deep gratitude for her invaluable contributions to the world of theater and film and wish her continued health, longevity, and creative success.

Mzia Arabuli has been an actor in this theater since the establishment of Mikheil Tumanishvili’s professional state theater. He made several impressive faces throughout his acting career, both in theatre and film. Theatrical roles of the actor are Shushanik (“The Torture of Shushanik”), Mzekha (“Minute village is like this”), Zenati (“Bakula pigs”), Bernarda (“Bernarda Alba’s house”), Mariam Magdalene (“Seroba”), Storyteller (“National Anthem”), Polita (“Summer Night’s Dream”), Mother of the Crow (“The Ballad of Tiger and the Crow”), Lali Samkvirashvili (“Green Card”). He performed monospectacles such as “What Made Me Human?” and “Everything Was Real.”

Mzia Arabuli participates in movies: “Esculape’s Disciple” (O. Abesadze, 1977); “Unforgettable Day” (T. Maghalashvili, 1977), “Land of the ancestors” (G. Lortkipanidze, G. Chokhonelidze, 1979), “Fairytale” (K. Surmava, 1980), “Old man with a car” (T. Goshadze, 1981), “The tent of wisdom” (O. Koberidze, 1982), “The story of Surami prison” (s. Farajanov, D. Abashidze, 1984), “Sadness of Humans” (G. Chokheli, 1984), “Some plagues are to be overcome” (P. Charkviani, 1984), “Khareba and Gogia” (G. Shengelaya, 1987), “Vamekhi and Gogia” (O. Litanishvili, O. Shamatava, 1987), “Life of Don Quixote and Sanchos” (R. Chkheidze, 1989), “Lolita” (R. Giorgobiani, 1991), “At the crossroads” (R. Levan Akin, 2024).

On June 15, a jubilee performance will be held in Mikheil Tumanishvili Theater for the 70th anniversary of Mzia Arabuli. The audience will see the monospaced “Everything Was Real,” produced by director Ioane (Vano) Khutsishvili with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Georgia and presented at the Leville Georgian Festival in 2023.
