Batumi, Georgia: In Batumi, the 120th House of Justice was opened across the country. It’s all about taking care of Georgia’s citizens and providing better services for them, and it’s the utmost responsibility to the country and its citizens.
The Batumi No.2 branch of the House of Justice was located in the building of “Batumi Central,” together with the city’s population, it will serve the residents of the nearby settlements.
The Batumi No.1 branch of Justice House is located in Adjara, in the new boulevard area, near Ardagani Lake, on Hero Square.
More than 40 local employees in the new branch will provide customers up to 500 services with a higher standard than usual for the House of Justice. Thus, the management and distribution of customer streams will improve, helping to optimize wait and service times.
The Deputy Minister of Justice, Erekle Ghvinianidze, Mayor of Batumi Archil Chikovan, and Chairman of the House of Justice, Lasha Lobjanidze, have inspected the new branch and noted that the No2 branch of the House of Justice Batumi will fully meet the growing demand of the rapid urban development of the city.
The accessibility of state services is a priority of the Ministry of Justice, provided by 120 justice houses throughout Georgia. In a few weeks, another 121st branch of the House of Justice will be opened in Khashuri.
This year, significant progress has been made in the expansion of the geographical area of the Houses of Justice. Construction works of the branches of the House of Justice are already actively underway in Chala, Zoti, Tolbi, Tsaishi, Shrosha, Tbilisi (Gldani), Terjola, Akhmeta, Khelvachauri, and Sagarejo, bringing optimism for improved access to justice services.
For the citizens living away from regional centers, the innovative project “Mobile Justice House” has already served the country’s territory. Adjara has seven justice houses, and the mobile justice house covers ten villages.
