Rehabilitation and construction projects of the water supply and drainage network are underway in Poti. Poti and nearby areas will benefit after the completion of reconstruction work  which is being executed at a rapid pace.
It is to be specifically mentioned that within the framework of the rehabilitation of the water supply system of Poti and nearby villages  the damaged sections on the central highway from the village of Nosiri have been repaired. The repaired section which mainly provides water supply to the city  has now been completely replaced.
The Poti, Senak, and Khobi municipalities include almost 17 villages  which will also benefit from these rehabilitation projects. At the same time  the rehabilitation of the network on  Giorgi Street is nearing completion.
Moreover  the water supply network will also be renewed in the Maltakva area. The rehabilitation project also arranges wells, head buildings, and the Skada system. Construction-rehabilitation works will be carried out along with the chlorination at pumping stations. Meanwhile in parallel mode the construction work of a street in Poti for an improved water supply network continues as well.
On the other hand  in Poti  the rehabilitation works of roads damaged by the water supply and drainage construction project are also underway. This project involves the installation of asphalt-concrete pavement on 10 streets  covering a total of up to 17 km.
These projects are being implemented by the United Water Supply Company of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure  with the co-financing of the state budget and the Asian Development Bank assisstance. This collaboration ensures that the projects are well-funded and managed  reassurance to all stakeholders.
The workers of the respective companies are working round the clock to complete construction work on road repairs early. Heavy earth-moving machines have also been engaged in road construction. Â The construction company representative also inspected the site plans to ensure the successful execution of the work. They expressed hope that the company would complete the work very soon.
