Tbilisi: The annual ceremony to award the best national teacher award will be held on September 13. The Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia confer the award every year.
According to the latest information the application deadline has been closed. The application-receiving process for the National Teacher Award has been completed and is entering the next phase.
It is to be added that the specially mentioned that the commission has already selected 10 candidates with the best history in the teaching profession and their contribution to the other fields associated with education. The teachers who have been Selected so far after the adoption of due process will receive a National Award.
The national award includes a specially designed breast badge and a cash prize of 10,000 GEL. This is all to recognize the teacher’s special contribution to the development of society and the education system throughout the country through their collective and individual efforts.
Georgia’s National Teacher’s Day is celebrated on October 27 every year.
