Georgia: The Georgian Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, Giorgi Amilakhvari, made a momentous visit to the newly rehabilitated 12th public school in Gori. His presence and keen interest in the ongoing infrastructural works and on-site situation underscore the profound importance of this project.
The Chairman of the Legal Issues Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, Anri Okhanashvili, Majority MP Giorgi Sosiashvili of Gori, and the Caspian Majority Deputy visited the school with the Minister.
Giorgi Amilakhvari, underlining the pivotal role of the SIP Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency, declared that the agency is actively executing various infrastructural projects in Tbilisi and the regions. This information provides a profound understanding of the project’s management and execution, instilling confidence in the audience and keeping them well-informed.
The 12th public school of Gori, designed for 750 pupils, will now boast a comprehensive range of facilities. In addition to renovated learning spaces, the school will feature state-of-the-art science and computer labs, a well-stocked library, a resource room, a doctor’s office, a spacious canteen, a fully-equipped gym, and activity halls. Importantly, the building will be fully adapted for people with disabilities.
It is worth noting that the school’s rehabilitation works are carried out by the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency of SSP, which has a contract value of more than 5 100 000 GEL. The post-rehabilitation agency also provides school equipment with all the appropriate educational resources and inventory.
Implementing the infrastructure project will allow the 12th Public School of Gori pupils to continue their studies in an environment that meets new international standards. This will not only enhance their learning experience but also prepare them for the future, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
