Tbilisi: The International Center of Education and the State Agency for Promotion of Employment of Georgia organized a forum. The theme of this forum was “Employment and career development for graduates in the city”.
The forum was opened by Tariel Gugava, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia. Gia Tsagareishvili the Deputy Minister of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Protection accompanied him.
Minister Tariel Gugava addressed the participants of the forum and wished them success in the future. According to him promoting the employment of young people is one of the state’s priorities of Government and this forum is a positive initiative in this direction.
He also added “In the modern, competitive world it is necessary to train and attract highly qualified personnel with appropriate knowledge and competence for the country’s labour market. The holding of the forum also serves this purpose”
According to him, At the event with the support of the International Education Center, graduates were informed in detail about the news and challenges of the employment market as well as the specifics of the work of employment platforms.
The Deputy Minister of IDPs, Labor, Health, and Social Protection also addressed the attendees. He spoke about the importance of holding the forum and focused on promoting youth employment.
As per Gia Tsagareishvili “Today’s event is the best example of joint cooperation between state and private companies. I hope that the graduates will be able to choose the desired job positions and contribute to the development of the country with their own knowledge. The State employment agency is always ready to help students increase their employment and career development opportunities.”
It is to be noted that on this occasion, employers provide information on vacant managerial positions in the public and private sectors. The graduates participating in the forum with the support of the state of Georgia and partner countries will receive education at many foreign Universities.
Some famous International Universities include Columbia University, New York University, the University of Glasgow, the University of Bristol, the Polytechnic University of Milan, and Lewis University. The Employment and Career Development Forum aims to attract highly qualified, young personnel in Georgia and promote their employment.
