Tbilisi: Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Turkey. He also extended deep condolences to the victims of the attack and assured to provide any necessary help to the Turkey administration as well.
PM while taking to his social media handles, stated, “This is an unfortunate incident, I am deeply shocked by such a cowardly attack on innocent people. I extend my deep condolence to the family members of people who died and got injured.”
In this terrorist attack, five people lost their lives and injured 22 others in Ankara the capital, city of Turkey. He also added that Georgia is always there to support President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in its fight against anti-national forces. He said that every citizen of Georgia is with the people of Turkey in this difficult time.
In addition, the PM added that it is time to stand jointly with Turkey to fight such threats in the future. Notably, this terrorist attack took place at the headquarters of Turkish Aerospace Industries.
Turkish Aerospace is one of the country’s big aviation companies in Ankara City. The official of Turkey’s defence department added that this is one of the many signs of a terrorist link behind this attack.
Officials believe the Kurdistan Workers’ Party may be the main conspirator. The party has been labelled as a terrorist organization in many countries of the world, including the United States of America.
At the same time, many other leaders from different countries have also condemned the attack on the headquarters of the aviation company. They vowed to implement several worldwide measures to counter the threat of terrorism.
Every year large number of people lose their precious lives in such terrorist attacks. This has become a global problem. No country can claim that it has become fully secure against any threat of terrorism.
Many countries have created regional, bilateral and multilateral platforms to launch aggressive action against the terrorists. However, there has been no success completely achieved against these anti-humanity elements.
