Georgia: Shalva Gogoladze, the First Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports of Georgia, met with representatives of sports federations and sports societies on October 26, 2024.

It should be remembered that the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, appointed Tinatin Rukhadze as the new Minister of Culture and Sports of Georgia.
According to the Head of Government, after the elections, a legislative change will be implemented, according to which the Ministry of Culture and Sports will be split. Shalva Gogoladze will be appointed as the Minister of Sports. Until then, she will be the First Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports, and her curatorial area is sports.
The conversation also touched on Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze‘s statement at the government session, which stated that the government is launching a two-billion-dollar program to develop sports infrastructure.
