The United States of America represents a strategic market for Georgian Wine. Since 2013, events carried out with the support of the National Wine Agency have contributed significantly to the growth of the popularity and export of Georgian Wine in the USA. In January-October of this year, more than 1 million liters of Wine were exported from Georgia to the USA, 58% higher than the previous year’s similar period.
In the fall of this year, American wine professionals and journalists visited Georgia as part of the campaign to promote and increase awareness of Georgian Wine in the United States.
In New York City, Georgian wine advertising banners were placed on 25 lightboxes for two weeks. In New York, a large-scale presentation of Georgian Wine was held, “Grand Tasting,” And continued cooperation with the prestigious American wine publishing house Wine Enthusiast and other media outlets.
In 2023, the advertising campaign and cooperation with influential media outlets such as CBS and CNN predicted an unprecedented growth of Georgian wine sales in the United States at the end of 2023 and into 2024.
