Tbilisi: The Media Development Foundation (MDF) of Georgia has hosted a presentation. At the same time award for most media literate young person was held for year 2024.
The representatives of media development foundation while sharing information said at the event, we presented 2 new learning resources to representatives of the educational sector.
The one was cold War games whereas another one is namely operation infection. It is worth to note that the “Cold War Games” is a board game that aims to provide participants with knowledge about Soviet active activities and propaganda methods. This unique game was created with the help of the Soviet Past Research Laboratory and with the support of the NATO Office of Public Diplomacy.
Similarly, the “Operation Infection” is a GlobalFact11 award-winning online game that aims to test the player’s knowledge of Soviet propaganda methods. The Media Development Foundation has created these games with the help of Embassy of United States of America.
The winner of quiz competition were also honoured on this occasion. As per the result of event Salome Doddsville became the most media literate young person of 2024.
At the same time first prize was captured by Tinatin Intuitively and second was claimed by Mariam Dzandzava. The competition was held by MDF, media development foundation together with the Soviet Past Research Laboratory with the support of the NATO Public Diplomacy Office and the US Embassy.
The key speaker on this event shared their views with the students and winner of competitor. They congratulated all of them and extended their best wishes for future of winners as well.
Notably Georgia was part of erstwhile Soviet Union. When Soviet Union was dissolved many countries declared themselves independent states. Georgia also declared itself a independent nation and become republic of Georgia.
However, many Georgian parties blamed anti national forces for trying to force anti-Georgian policies. They also blamed Russia for unnecessary interference in internal affairs of Georgia.
