Visit of PM led Georgian delegation to Armenia comes to end

The official visit of Georgian delegation under Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze comes to end today.  Armenia’s PM Nikol Pashinyan accompanied him to airport for departure ceremony.

Yerevan: The official visit of Georgian delegation under Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze comes to end today.  Armenia’s PM Nikol Pashinyan accompanied him to airport for departure ceremony.

There was special meeting between PM Kobakhidze and Armenian Prime Minister during this official visit. This interaction of each prime minister was later on followed by Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation’s session.

This commission was established to enhance cooperation between both countries. This session of Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation held at Yerevan, capital of Armenia and was co-chaired by both prime minister of Georgia and Armenia as well.

In this productive session both leaders have discussed multiple issues of relevance.  The Georgian PM in this session while commenting on bilateral relation added, “For our Georgian government it is very important to build strong relations with Armenia. Moreover, we are working to take bilateral relation to new heights with more consistent efforts”.

PM Kobakhidze while sharing others details on this meeting highlighted, we have discussed in details measures to boost our bilateral relations. We have also focused our discussions on regional issues having direct or indirect impact on our deep stable relations.

PM called strong bilateral relations beneficial for both the countries. He said with clear understanding about the bilateral relations between both the countries will be helpful for tackling many regional and international issues effectively.

PM also said, better economic cooperation between both countries is “one of main priorities. On the other hand, Armenian PM said that we have agreed to utilise every available resource to make our bilateral relations more stronger.

He said he will visit Georgis in near future to give new direction to existing bilateral relations as well. He thanked Georgian PM for inviting him to his country for official visit.

On the other hand the minister the Minister of Environment and Agriculture David Songulashvili,  also called  Georgia-Armenia relations more stable than past. He is also member of this PM led delegation visiting Georgia. He said the current trade potential between both countries is very high and we need to tap this soon.
