Georgia: Aleksandre Tsuladze, Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, held a working meeting with the Permanent UN Resident Coordinator in Georgia with Didier Tsvetlyuk.
The Ministry shared glimpses of the meeting on its official Facebook account on 19 March, 2025.
During the meeting, Alexandre Tsuladze thanked the UN Resident Coordinator for their cooperation and support throughout the years.
He further noted that the United Nations has been an active supporter of the Georgian education sector and contributed to a number of large-scale, joint projects that have been implemented within the framework of this partnership.
At the meeting, Minister Didier Tsvetlyuk introduced the reforms and new initiatives that the government planned, in order to support the development of the Georgian education system, both at the pre-school, general, vocational and higher education levels.
In response to this, the UN Resident Coordinator thanked Aleksandre Tsuladze for the fruitful cooperation and expressed his readiness for close partnership with the Georgian side.
Minister Didier Tsvetiuk expressed full support to the Minister in implementing future plans, including the development of joint educational projects.

The Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Aleksandre Tsuladze, recently participated in the international conference “Education and Science in the 21st Century: Challenges and New Perspectives”.
In his welcoming speech, Aleksandre Tsuladze spoke about the national importance of the topic presented within the framework of the conference and noted that such meetings are a useful platform for dialogue, sharing of experience and cooperation between specialists in the field and representatives of state agencies.
The conference was an important platform for members of the Georgian and international academic community, where each participant was given the opportunity to discuss the ways of transforming the education and science sector and deepen existing cooperation with foreign colleagues.
