Tbilisi, Georgia: The Minister of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia, David Songulashvili, hosted the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliev at the agro exhibition CASPIAN AGRO 2025. The exhibition was held on May 13, 2025.
The Ambassador of Emergency and Plenipotentiary of Georgia in Azerbaijan, Zurab Pataradze, was also present there, along with the Georgian Minister of Environment and Agriculture.
The Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia shared the glimpses of the exhibition on its official Facebook page on May 13, 2025, on Tuesday. The Ministry also shared a small note along with the photographs. Notably, the exhibition will run from May 13 to May 16, 2025.

The Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev hihlighted the importance of relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan and the existence of common strategic goals and noted that Georgia’s participation in the agro-exhibition CASPIAN AGRO 2025 strengthens the relations between the two countries and increases the possibilities of utilizing trade-economic potential.
The Georgian Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, David Songulashvili, expressed his warm gratitude towards the President for his visit. He also noted that Georgian manufacturers produce high-quality products, which is a firm basis for deepening trade-economic relations.
The Georgian Agricultural Minister on his side noted that Georgia’s participation in the exhibition CASPIAN AGRO is another proof of the regional cooperation. It is an evidence of Georgia’s loyalty to their relationship.
He stated, “Our goal is to promote Georgian quality products in access to new markets. Such platforms provide us with the opportunity to introduce the country’s potential to a wider international audience.” According to him, it also helps to increase export opportunities, which is ultimately the basis for strengthening our country’s economy.
At the agro exhibition CASPIAN AGRO 2025 in the Georgian pavilion, companies benefiting from state programs have also presented their products.
