Koba Kobaladze hosts new head of TIKA Tbilisi Office

Tbilisi, Georgia: The Director of the State Service of Veterans Affairs, Major General Koba Kobaladze, held a meeting with the new head of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency – TIKA Tbilisi Office, Salih Ozer, on January 29th of this year.

Koba Kobaladze presented a presentation to the guests and explained in detail the history of the establishment of the job, stages of development, administrative arrangement, strategic plans, and ongoing tasks.

He spoke in detail about the fruitful cooperation that has been associated with TIKA over the years; noted the successful projects implemented with the organization’s support to support veteran farmers involved in agriculture, in particular beekeeping; emphasized the importance of a mobile clinic, which was given to V.Sanikidze War Veterans Clinical Hospital with the support of TIKA; Particularly distinguished by the organization’s support, last year, Gombori volunteer training In the center, trainings conducted by Turkish instructors for Georgian specialists and rescue operations, which was given to the center by the Turkish side as a gift.

Koba Kobaladze expressed his gratitude to former heads of TIKA and expressed his hope that fruitful and result-oriented cooperation will continue and deepen.

Salih Ozer thanked Koba Kobaladze for his interesting conversation and warm hospitality and said that he appreciates the sacrifices of veterans in front of the country, and their support is particularly important for Turkey’s Cooperation and Coordination Agency. Salih Ozer expressed his desire to deepen cooperation between the Civil Service of Veterans Affairs and Turkey’s Agency for Cooperation and Coordination and discussed prospects for expanding the relationship.
