Gurjaani Municipality, Georgia: An Informational meeting was held with peach farmers in Gurjaani Municipality on March 28, 2026. Notably, it was organized by the Agricultural Scientific and Research Center (SRCA) of Georgia.
The Scientific Research Center for Agriculture (SRCA) of Georgia shared the glimpses of the meeting on its official Facebook Page on March 28, 2026, Saturday. The Research Center also shared a small note about the meeting along with its glimpses.
It is also worth noting that about 100 farmers attended the meeting, both from Gurjaani and Telavi municipalities. The main aim of the meeting was to discuss current issues in the field and share modern agrotechnological recommendations.

During the meeting, specialists of the Agricultural Scientific and Research Center briefed farmers about modern approaches to peach orchards, including soil management principles, effective regeneration strategies, integrated plant protection issues, modern methods of disease and pest control, and phenological work planning.
Pay special attention to events held in peach gardens during the current season. Farmers were given practical recommendations based on modern agrotechnological approaches and aimed at increasing yields and improving production quality. The issues presented have aroused the interest of farmers.
The meeting was conducted in an interactive mode and included a discussion in which farmers had the opportunity to get exhaustive answers to the questions that were important to them.
