The Georgian weather department has released another report on the expected weather. The report covers the weather forecast for the next three days, from June 9-11, 2026.
In the coming days, in the wake of high temperatures, temporary rain and lightning are expected in Georgia, with some possible hail. Short rain with thunderstorms is expected in Tbilisi at night and in the evening. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +27 to +29 degrees.
Coastal districts (Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, Poti): On June 9-10, warm and mostly uneven weather is expected, and on June 11, it will rain. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +25 to +27 degrees.
In the lower districts of West Georgia (Zestafoni, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti): On June 9-10, separate rain and lightning are expected in most regions on June 11. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +28 to +30 degrees.
In the mountainous regions of Western Georgia (Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, Ricoti Pass): Due to the heat, some short rain and lightning are expected. The air temperature during the day will be +26 to +28 degrees.
In the highland regions of Western Georgia (Mestia, Bakhmaro), some short rain and lightning are expected. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +21, +23 degrees.
In Kartli (Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Garabani, Gori, Tskhinvali): Some short rain and lightning are expected. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +28 to +30 degrees.
In Kakheti (Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Signagi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, Dedofliskaro): Some short rain and thunderstorms are expected, the air temperature during the day will be +27 to +29 degrees.
In the mountainous regions of Eastern Georgia (Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Pasanauri), some short rain and lightning are expected, and hail is possible. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +25 to +27 degrees.
In the highland regions of Eastern Georgia (Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo), some short rains are expected. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +17, +19 degrees.
