Batumi, Georgia: Within the framework of the International Music Festival, a concert dedicated to the anniversary of Nani Bregvadze was held in the Batumi State Dramatic Theater on Friday.
The Government of Adjara shared the glimpses of the concert on its official Facebook Page on June 12, 2026. The Government also shared a small note about the event along with its glimses.
Participants of the event:
- Zurab Pataradze, the chairman of the government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara,
- Zurab Pataradze’s wife, Sophia Bakuridze.
- Georgian Minister of Culture, Tinatin Rukhadze,
- Chairman of the High Council of Adjara, Tsotne Ananidze,
- Representatives of the Georgian Government and local government, the cultural sphere, and members of society.
The Prime Minister of Georgia spoke about Nani Bregvadze’s many years of creative work and special contribution to the development of Georgian music.
“It was an emotional and special evening. We are happy that Mrs. Nani Bregvadze’s jubilee started in Batumi. I’m sure this evening made everyone happy, both the older and the younger. It was a true celebration of culture, traditions, and mutual respect between generations. I believe that several generations will be raised on the art and work of Nani,” said Zurab Pataradze.
According to the small note shared by the Adjara Government, it should be noted that the anniversary evening was held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia, SP “Creative Georgia,” and Batumi City Hall. The event was dedicated to the long-term creative work of the legend of Georgian song.
Famous works from Nani Bregvadze’s repertoire were performed in the evening, and once again, her special contribution to the popularization of Georgian songs was emphasized.
It should be noted that the Famous Georgian performers and family members of Nani Bregvadze participated in the concert. Also, the musical decoration of the evening was provided by the festival’s orchestra and band led by Nika Nikvashvili.
