Together with Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze and Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Givi Mikanadze, the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, took part in the closing event of “Studfest 2026.” He congratulated the young people on the successful completion of Studfest.
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, shared the glimpses of the event on the official Facebook page on June 19, 2026, Friday. The PM also shared a small note about the event along with the glimpses of its closing ceremony.
More than 20,000 students were involved in this year’s events. Studfest included a particularly wide range of events this year. More than 2000 people were involved in the run alone. It all speaks of great motivation and enthusiasm, for which I thanked them very much and congratulated the winners.
It is worth noting that it is their duty to support the holding of such events in the future as well. As the PM Kobakhidze mentioned in his speech, they can promise that Studfest will be held annually, and the list of events will grow even more.
The Georgian Prime Minister thanked the organizers of the festival – the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth, the Youth Agency, the Mayor of the Capital and the City Hall, the Mayor of Rustavi, and the representatives of the municipalities.

The minister awarded the winners of the competitions held within the framework of Studfest. The “Studfest 2026” winner award was given to the Technical University of Georgia.
The closing event of the festival was attended by members of the Georgian government, rectors of higher education, and participants of Studfest.
