A meeting was held with farmers benefiting from the programs of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment in the Kobuleti Agroservice Center on June 18, 2026, Thursday.
The Kobuleti City Hall shared the glimpses of the meeting on its official Facebook page on June 18, 2026, Thursday. The City Hall of Kobuleti Municipality also shared a small note about the meeting along with its glimpses.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Adjara Government Zurab Pataradze, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, David Songulashvili, representatives of the Georgian Parliament and local self-government, farmers, beneficiaries of the programs “Promotion of Rural and Agricultural Development in Adjara” and “Promotion of Vineyard Development” and Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University Students of the Faculty of Agriculture of Ti were present.
As part of the Agricultural Development Promotion Program, up to 5,000 farmers will benefit from various types of agricultural machinery and inventory this year. Within the framework of the event, attention was also paid to the development of the vineyard field. It is noteworthy that six varieties of local grapes have been harvested, and up to 13,000 seedlings were produced in the Agroservice Center’s planting field.
The beneficiaries of the program have been awarded Agro-equal finance vouchers. Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Adjara Denis Salukvadze presented the presentation of planned measures for the development of the agricultural sector. Farmers were addressed by the Chairman of the Government of Adjara and the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.
At the end of the meeting, the agricultural machinery on display for farmers and the products produced by the beneficiaries of the ministry programs were inspected.
