Otar Shamugia honours 50 employees of Ministry of Environment and Agriculture

Tbilisi: Otar Shamugia, the Georgian Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture, has honoured the fifty employees of the Ministery. These employee were rewarded for their extraordinary contribution to the agriculture sector of the country. 

Minister Otar Shamugia congratulated all these employees for this achievement and encouraged them to work with more dedication.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Otar Shamugia stated that, “Georgia has received the status of EU candidate member country, which is the merit of each of you.”The Minister also thanked his employees for their productive work and congratulated the upcoming Christmas and New Year to all the attendees.

Otar Shamugia said specifically that ” the current year of 2023 has been very successful for our country in all areas. I want to focus on the biggest success achieved by our country. Georgia has received the status of a candidate member of the European Union, which is due to each of you and your sincere efforts in this direction as well. Your hard work and teamwork are the result of the significant progress we are making in both the environment and agriculture sectors of the country”.

“We have also taken a step forward in every direction and I am very much sure with this approach. we will be able to protect the environment its further development of agriculture and achieve significant success in the future. Thank you so much to each and every one of you for your hard work. We need to prepare for 2024 to be even more successful. I am sure we can do it together” added minister.

It is to be specifically mentioned that the deputies of the Minister together with Minister Otar Shamugia gave certificates of appreciation to all the winning employees.

On the other hand, the employee also expressed their gratitude towards Minister Otar Shamugia for recognising their contribution. They also said that they will work with more dedication and determination in future.

They also stated that with the united efforts of all officials and employees the next year of 2024 will be more successful than the present year. There was also a photo session of the winning employees with the Otar Shamugia Georgian minister of environmental protection and agriculture.
