Georgia: The “Agroliga” announced 18 winners who participated in its competition along with other 314 contestants. The winners were presented with certificates and various gift vouchers.
It should be noted that the Agroliga Competition most likely refers to the Future Agro Challenge. It is a global competition focused on finding solutions to food security and sustainability challenges.

Aim of Agroliga Competition
According to the information shared by the Environment Center, the main aim of the competition “Agroliga” is to disseminate professional knowledge in the agrarian sector, promote the development of agricultural and environmental educational spheres, and represent successful students in these disciplines.
Furthermore, the winners’ award event was attended by Deputy Minister of Environment and Agriculture Solomon Pavliashvili. As the Deputy Minister noted during his speech, the competition promotes the popularity of professions in agrarian and environmental fields.
Significance of the Competition
It is also worth mentioning that the competition “Agroliga” is a very good platform for young people. It should also be mentionioned that it is a motivation to master the deficient professions of agricultural and environmental areas. In addition, the competition also promotes the relevant crops, – stated Solomon Pavliashvili.
This year, the competition was held for 2 months and covered the fields of the vineyard, plant protection, beekeeping, forestry, vision, and biodiversity. The competition “Agroliga – 2025″ is implemented by the Environmental Information and Education Center, funded by the Swiss Development and Cooperation Agency (SDC).
Notably, the competition was hosted within the framework of the ongoing project “Modernization of Vocational Education and Training (VET) System in Agriculture in Georgia.” It should be noted that this project was supported by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
