Akhaltsikhe: The Akhaltsikhe Youth Council of city helped the needy family of socially vulnerable section of society. The helping visit to needy family was final stage of their community welfare activities.
It is worth noting that the members of the Akhaltsikhe Youth Council used to organise such events for social welfare. This year project marked celebration of Christmas with these poor and needy people.
The glimpses of visit were shared on social media handles of municipality also. The social media user has lauded this noble gesture of members of Akhaltsikhe Youth Council for extending their hand for helping the poor.
The official Facebook page of Municipality while sharing glimpses of event stated, “On December 27, the Akhaltsikhe Youth Council successfully completed a project, the last stage of which was to help socially vulnerable families.”
It also stated that, as part of the project, families were given cash assistance and minors were given gift boxes. Moreover, this project included several stages. Some of the stages of this community help project were very helpful.
A poster competition with aim to encourage students for social welfare was held. This will deepen sense of social responsibility (volunteering) among young people.
Similarly, another competition was held as forum-theatre, where social issues and the importance of active community involvement were discussed in detail by all the members of group. At the same time a Christmas charity fair was organised where money was collected, which was given to socially vulnerable families at the fourth stage.
It is also to be noted that this notable social welfare initiative was implemented with the financial support of the association of youth councils and the Akhaltsikhe Municipality Hall. Charitable assistance was the final stage of the project.
Notably members of Akhaltsikhe Youth Council visit the vulnerable families with Christmas gifts also. They extend their best wishes to them for upcoming new year 2025.
