Tbilisi: The military personnel of the Georgian Défense Forces are also actively participating in the process of resolving the problems caused by heavy snowfall. The large number of employees has been engaged in this snow removing work in the Imaret region.
The information from the authorities further revealed that, the soldiers of the 3rd Infantry Brigade delivered food and necessities to the population of Bagdati, where movement by technical means is difficult.
At the same time the military personnel are also actively assisting families in special need in the process of clearing snow from the roofs of houses and cleaning yards.
In addition to the Bagdati region, the support area of the military personnel of the 3rd Infantry Brigade includes the Samtredia, Vani, Kharagauli, Zestaponi, Tkibuli regions and adjacent villages. If necessary, soldiers from high-mountainous villages temporarily transport families with children and the elderly to easily accessible and safe places.
To resolve the problems in the shortest possible time, the personnel of the Défense Forces act in accordance with the instructions received from the Coordination Headquarters of the Imereti region.
The unstable and unexpected heavy rainfall coupled with snowfall derail the normal life in many areas of country. The snowfall also hit normal road connectivity on majority of national highways and people who want to travel for urgent work facing many problems.
