Kutaisi: The Municipality of Kuiaisi City of the Republic of Georgia has completed the work of Balanchivadze Central Music School. The school has been equipped with the latest and up-to-date facilities for children to provide them world-class music education.
It is to be specifically mentioned that according to the rehabilitation project, the facade, interior, classrooms, concert halls, exhibition space (museum), the roofing, electric and water supply system were renovated in accordance with modern standards in the Music School. The total cost of the renovation project was financed by RGPF with an amount of 1 341 758 GEL.
It is worth mentioning that many dignitaries of the locality attended the opening ceremony of the rehabilitated music school. Some among them include the Mayor of Kutaisi, Ioseb Khakhaleishvili, Majoritarian MP Zaza Lominadze, Imereti State Commissioner Zviad Shalamberidze, Chairman of Sakrebulo Irakli Shengelia, representatives of local government and cultural sphere.
It is to be noted that Balanchivadze Central Music School is one of the distinguished music schools not only in our city but also in our country. A large number of students every year attend the school to avail world class facilities.
Speaking on the occasion, Joseph Khakhaleishvili stated that “I am glad that we have done such a large-scale rehabilitation work. I believe that the music school will host international musical events of any level with dignity, and the students of this school will achieve even more success and make Kutaisi famous at regional and international levels.
The opening ceremony of the Central Music School ended with a concert attended by the school’s teachers, chamber orchestra and children’s choir.
At the event, the official of the Kutaisi City Hall awarded medals to students who won various international music competitions. It is also to be noted that on this special occasion, the students of the school gave an impressive musical performance with different types of musical instruments.
The key speakers of the event encouraged and motivated the students to work hard and achieve success at national, regional as well as international levels.Students looked very attractive in their same colour dresses.
