The Administration of Batumi City Hall has increased the budget for infrastructural projects by 66 million 753 thousand GEL. This enhanced budget will be used to fund the new projects and the work of ongoing projects will also be streamlined.
As per the information, the new projects envisaged within the framework of the change are as follows:
- Construction of a new road connecting Grigol Lortkifanidze Street and Seaside Street
- Improvement of Rejeb Nizharadze Street
- Improvement of General Aslan Abashidze Street (from the intersection of Juli Shartava Avenue to the intersection of Mamia Varshanidze Street, including General Aslan Abashidze I Lane)
- Improvement of the temple street
- Improvement of the street of Tuzvauri
- Improvement of the road from Kakhi Kavsadze II lane #17 to Didgori St. to #63
- Improvement of the road connecting Nachkebia and Goderdzi Chokheli streets
- Rehabilitation of Fridon Khalvashi Avenue (from the intersection of Opizreb Street to Makho Bridge) and Opizreb, Taos and Shanidze Streets (from Fridon Khalvashi Avenue to Chorokhi Street)
- Rehabilitation of Kikawa Street
- Improvement of Gogol Street (from the intersection of Sergi Meskhi Street to the intersection of N. Gogol Street
- Designing and construction works of an underground passage on Shavsheti Street under the railway line
- Construction of a bridge crossing near Akaki Shanidze’s 3rd lane #8-12
- Arrangement of bridges at Kakhi Kavsadze #1, Andria Prymkavuli Highway #114, and Yusuf Faghava St. Adjacent to #29
- Construction of a bridge crossing on Grigol Robakidze St. Adjacent to #77-34
- Outdoor lighting works in the streets and yards of multi-story houses
- Exterior lighting works of Bedia Street
- Arrangement of drainage systems in Niko Jakeli St. #23 to #43, Teudore Mgvdli St. #1 to #114 and #7 to #16 of Khakhuli II lane
- Arrangement of retaining walls on the drainage channel passing through the warehouse area of the City Hall
- Arrangement of the drainage channel in Lekh and Maria Kachinski St. From #35 along Adliya Street (to Adliya Street #76)
- Dismantling of the old seawater pump station and construction of a new one located in the boulevard of the Black Sea Flora and Fauna Research Center LLC.
- Liquidation works of damages caused by natural disasters (2024-2025)
- Restoration of the pedestrian path damaged by the natural disaster in Akhal Boulevard and construction of storm-proof drain collectors
- Construction of two kindergartens on Ivane Meskhi first lane #7 and Niko Muskhelishvili st. #33 adjacent to “D”
- Arrangement of a square at : Tamar Mefi Avenue #20, Mukhran Machavariani St. #88, N. Firosman St. #18, Kakhabri St. #22, Mamia Varshanidze st. #71, Tbilisi St. #66 and Daba Chakvi, Tamar Mefi Ave
- Arrangement of 2 mini sports fields in Firosmani St. #5 and Sh. Inasaridze st. Adjacent to #9
- Purchase of sports simulators (disassembly-assembly)
- Arrangement of drinking water systems in the administrative unit of Green Cape
- Construction of the Koroliskalli River dam and water intake structure
- Construction of a 2000 km water reservoir, as well as a feeder highway and network in Avgia St. #5, adjacent to lane #1.
