Georgia: Rehabilitation work underway in Strom hit Areas

As the storm hit many coastal parts of Georgia, central and local authorities are busy in rehabilitation work. As per authorities, the situation will be back to normal very soon.

The coastline of the Poti City Hall area was also badly hit by the storm and other natural calamity-related activities. In some areas of the locality, the storm destroyed the seals, and the clean and pure water supply was also disturbed.

Although huge property damage was caused by the storm, population loss was minimal in areas under Poti City. Hall. The administration of the Poti City Hall took to Social media regarding the progress of rehabilitation work. The area is being cleaned up by concerned departments of City Hall.

Cemetery and protective barriers have been established to address the problem of lack of water reach for coastal communities.Much heavy equipment and machinery also engaged by the authorities for the timely completion of rehabilitation work.

It is to be specifically mentioned that Poti Munincaiplaity Hall authorities said that Liquidation work will continue until the day-to-day activity becomes normal in the coastal areas.State Commissioner Giorgi Gugucia got acquainted on the ground reality with the city mayor, Beka Vajaradze and Chairman of the City Council, Alexander Tkebuchava.

Many workers were busy in rescue and rehabilitation work at night time. They were working on the water-flooded roads.Big Concrete blocks were being used to stop the flow of water towards the residential areas.As the local authority of Poti Municipality informed the general public on rehabilitation work on social , users laud the efforts of the authorities.

The mayor and other officials said that with continued cooperation and coordination among different agencies, the rehabilitation work will be completed soon.
