SSS employees arrest one person in charge of commercial bribery

The State Security Service (SSS) of Georgia announced on its Official Facebook Page that its employees arrested one person in a group on the charge of commercial bribery, and one person was exposed.

Georgia: The State Security Service (SSS) of Georgia announced on its Official Facebook Page that its employees arrested one person in a group on the charge of commercial bribery, and one person was exposed. 

The person was exposed due to the State Security Service’s (SSS) operative search and investigative actions.

According to the investigation carried out in the case, it has been established that the private medical institution LLC “K. Rustavi N1.

“Polyclinic” director I.N. and the doctor of the same polyclinic, M.T., prepared a false health report, form N100, for a citizen of the Arab Republic of Egypt, who was subject to deportation due to the expiration of the right of residence in Georgia, in exchange for 2000 USD Various non-existent diseases, which would prevent the relevant services from deporting a person from the country.

The investigation into the group’s commercial bribery and the production of forged official documents is being conducted under the provisions of Article 221 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, Part Four, Subsection “A” and Article 362, Part One. These articles stipulate imprisonment for a period of 4 to 6 years as a punishment for such offenses. 

The  State Security Service’s anti-corruption agency is diligently conducting the investigation. Rest assured, the circle of guilty individuals may expand as the service uncovers more evidence, ensuring justice is served.
