According to the project, a mockup was made based on a mold into which a brass cross was poured. The cross-casting was carried out under the supervision of architect-restorers. Also, a cross was made with a similar plan, which will be erected on the dome of Alaverde Cathedral.

The following works are considered for the future: covering the dome with a sheet copper on the gate-bell. A cramite roof is planned on the western minashen (Stoa) of the temple. It will be necessary to repair the broken lorphins in the lower parts of the dome, followed by a copper tyre. It is also planned to repair damaged lorphins on the roofs of the Cathedral and boat and clean the vegetation from the roofs.
