A quiz competition held recently between students of different schools. The quiz competition was held under theme what, where, when. The team “Alcides” from Daba Bakuriani Public School became winner of competition.
The event was ended with honouring of many other winners of competition. The title of the best thinker of the season was won by Mariam Arbolishvili, a member of the same team. She was awarded the thinking transitional owl recognition for winning the title.
At the same time the owner of “Megatechnika” in Borjomi, David Shonia presented the players of the winning team with individual gifts and the best thinker was also awarded a gift voucher from “Bardasi”.
The second and third places were shared by the team “Meotkhe” from N4 Public School and the team “Imsebi” from N3 Public School. On the other hand, 52 teams and about 300 students participated in the current season. In the final, 16 teams fought for the Crystal Owl award held under this competition also.
The intellectual game is organized by Borjomi Municipality, the Library Association and the Borjomi Intellectual Club. The intellectual games have traditionally been hosted by Public School No. 3 throughout the season.
The key speaker of event addressed students and encouraged them to participate in differnt activities. They stated “The existence of such educational projects is vital for the city, because the country’s progress and success depend on an educated young generation. Each participant is very motivated and eager.
“Thank you to the Borjomi Intellectual Club and the Library Association for this project. Good luck to them and most importantly to our young generation,” said Davit Zaalishvili, Chairman of the Borjomi Municipality Council.
He said that, the existence of such educational and cognitive projects is very important for the city and the country. It is precisely these types of projects that help the young generation to read more and more.
Naira Amanatashvili, the head of the “Library Union” also appreciated the students. Head also underlined that , I congratulate all the participants of the project on the upcoming Christmas and wish them successful and fruitful work.
