Alexander Tsuladze, the minister of education, science and youth of Georgia, recently took part in the international conference. The conference was held under theme “Education and Science in the 21st Century: Challenges and New Perspectives.”
This special event served as a crucial platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange and collaboration between specialists in the field and government representatives.
It is worth to note that in his welcome speech, Minister Tsuladze emphasized the significant role of education and science in national development in all countries.
He while sharing further information added that, that such conferences foster productive discussions, allowing experts to share experiences and explore cooperative strategies to address modern challenges in these sectors. According to him strengthening international cooperation is key to ensuring the advancement of education and science in Georgia.
The conference, organized as part of a grant project funded by the Shota Rustaveli Scientific Foundation aimed to examine modern trends in education and science. At the same time the other topics included higher education reforms, labour market compatibility and challenges in academic and scientific research.
It is also to be noted that experts from various institutions analysed strategies to align educational policies with workforce demands, ensuring that graduates possess the necessary skills for contemporary job markets as well.
On the other hand, this is one of the core objectives of the conference was to provide a collaborative space for Georgia and the international academic community worldwide.
The participants had the opportunity to discuss transformative approaches in education and science, fostering deeper engagement with foreign counterparts. The discussions focused on the best practices and potential solutions for global and local educational challenges and its solutinn as well.
