Tbilisi: With the support of the Georgian Ministry of Environment and Agriculture and the organization of the Rural Development Agency, fourteen Georgian companies participated in the FRUIT LOGISTICA 2023 international exhibition held in Berlin, Federal Republic of Germany.Â
The Agency for Rural Development, in cooperation with the German Economic Union, presented at the exhibition those companies producing fruits and vegetables, whose products fully meet the standards of the European Union.
“The beneficiaries of the projects initiated by the Georgian Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, within the framework of this important exhibition, had the opportunity to get to know the representatives of various companies and trade networks, which, in the future, will contribute to the process of diversification of markets for Georgian agricultural products and the growth of exports,” said the Rural Development Agency. Deputy director, Giorgi Jibladze.Â
At the international exhibition FRUIT LOGISTICA 2023, the stand of Georgia represented the following companies: Agrolane LLC, Bluebird LLC, Golden Farms LLC, Khoni Plantations LLC, Royal Berry LLC, FCO LLC, Silk Agro Technology LLC, Herbia LLC, Wes Best Blueberry Plant LLC, Mambofrost LLC, LLC Cider, LLC Blue Gold Georgia, LLC Green Meadow Products.
It should be noted that Imereti Agrozona LLC participated in the exhibition, which presented the projects of the greenhouse cluster development and horticulture training-demonstration center. It is also noteworthy that there was a high interest from potential investors in both projects of the Imereti agro zone.
Meetings were also held with the existing members of the horticulture training and demonstration center, Dutch companies, as well as with several German, Italian and Danish companies, which were interested in becoming a member of the center.
FRUIT LOGISTICA is one of the largest international exhibitions in Europe and represents one of the most important platforms. The exhibition has more than 80,000 visitors every year. This year, 87 countries and about 2,000 local and international companies operating in the agricultural sector took part in the exhibition. FRUIT LOGISTICA 2023 ended on February 10.
