A new recreational zone has been established in Sartichla village of Gardabani Municipality. The new recreational zone has a total area of 5000 square meters with all facilities.
It should be added that the space was created with the aim of improving the ecological situation and promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people in the locality.
Giorgi Dokhturishvili, State Trustee in Kvemo Kartliv attended the square’s official opening. He was accompanied by Irakli ShatakishvilivMajority Member of Rustavi and Gardabaniv and Irakli Shatakishviliv Mayor of Gardabani Municipality.
At the same time Davit Kargareteli, Chairman of Sakrebulo, Mikheil Gedekhauriv and many other local government representatives were also present on this occasion. The area has a new green look as many different kinds of plants were planted here. Moreover many other things have been placed at the park as well.
The zone also includes the creation of entertainment zones, rest pavilions a bicycle path, a skate park and a training space. Similarly outdoor lighting and irrigation systems have been installed to enhance visitors  experiences.
It is to be added specifically that the square is fully adaptable for all people who are affected by any kind of disability. In the absence of any easy access disabled people or people with special needs find it difficult to enjoy at parks.The local budget entirely financed the work; its total cost exceeds 980,000 GEL. 2,500 beneficiaries will be able to use the renovated recreational space.
There are sitting benches at every corner of the park. On the opening day the locals gathered in large numbers. The children played many games such as skating, and also enjoyed swings and slides. The municipality took to its official social media handles to share important information and glimpses of the event.
A musical performance was also held during the opening. On the other hand while addressing media houses  the mayor reiterated that the municipality is always committed to taking more such initiatives for the country’s overall development.
