  • Deputy Ministers Beka Davituliani and Giorgi Mirtschulava,
  • Head of the National Agency for Protection of Cultural Heritage Tea Oniani.

Tinatin Rukhadze spoke about changes in the structure of the agency and an increase in wages within the reorganization of the National Agency for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, museums, and museums-funerals. The conversation touched on solutions to the challenges in the field and plans.

According to the Minister of Culture, the structural changes have made it possible to increase wages for the employees of the Cultural Heritage Agency and its museums and museums.

According to the Culture Minister, Museums and funerals need to be maintained and developed with a completely different perspective, and employees need to feel like they are doing an important job for the country. “I would like to thank you and tell you that in some cases the wage for labor increased by 50-60%, on average, but there are state units in which the increase is much bigger,” added Tinatin Rukhadze.

Furthermore, she noted that it is necessary to turn museums into visitor centers. According to her, in this direction, they will have a concept to work together on, how to turn museum functions into visitor centers.

“This is a correct and modern approach, it can be educational, related to children, and tourist seasons. “I think that in better conditions you will have more motivation and you will do the work with love,” said the Minister of Culture, Tinatin Rukhadze.
