Tbilisi: The Prominent Non-Governmental organization of Georgia, IDFI (Institute of Development of Freedom of Information) has opened a training center. The center aims to provide youth with theoretical and practical knowledge on good governance.
While taking to the social media handle IDFI shared information regarding this significant development. The official Facebook page of IDFI Stated that “The IDFI School of Good Governance has been launched, within which young people will deepen theoretical and practical knowledge and skills related to good governance.”
It further stated” The youth will also get information on public administration, anti-corruption and transparency reforms of various branches of government in the context of European integration.”
It further stated that “The young members will get the opportunity to know and use in practice the mechanisms of public finance disposal and civil control and monitoring of Government activities.”
The training will be organized with the help of the USAID Public Administration Program to apprise the attendees on all aspects of the topic . The first session was held recently and there was a huge footfall of youngster.
The young members were given a lecture on their role in delivering good governance. There was a dedicated digital presentation that explained all the basic information in detail.
The session trainers said “They are happy to see the interest shown by youth in the training. We are sure that these youngster will set an example with their activities to highlight the role of good governance.”
he attendees of the event also expressed happiness that the NGO is taking such great initiatives in this direction. They also shared their ideas and suggestions with each other which can help them improve their knowledge of good governance.
The experts and intellectual class of the country laud the initiative. According to them this move will make the youth realize how good governance can lead any nation to new heights. They also added that the role of youth is crucial in good governance. Moreover the youth full of energy and new ideas can bring significant change in the direction of efficient governance.
