The Minister of Justice of Georgia, Paata Salia, introduced Georgian reforms of public services to the UN Public Administration Experts Committee on Wednesday.

During his speech at the 25th session of the UN Committee of Public Administration Experts (CEPA) in New York, the Minister of Justice spoke about the reforms implemented by Georgia in the field of public services and the process of modernization of state institutions.
Paata Salia focused on using artificial intelligence to improve public services, efficiency of public services in Georgia, and services focused on citizens’ needs.
“We rely on the transformational possibilities of technology.” From e-services to artificial intelligence, Georgia is actively integrating digital innovations into the public administration system – in line with our digital governance strategy for 2025-2030, which creates a consistent framework for a sustainable, secure, and inclusive digital infrastructure,” Paata Salia noted.
The minister also spoke about the importance of the UN Public Services 2026 Forum planned in Tbilisi. He mentioned, “Georgia, in partnership with the UN, hosts the UN Public Services Forum on June 23-25 on the theme: ‘Transforming Public Institutions: Development of Innovation, Inclusion and Inclusion.'”
“We are confident that Tbilisi will provide an active platform for dialogue, experience sharing, and collaborative thinking, which will help to accelerate sustainable change,” said Paata Salia.
A delegation from the Ministry of Justice is in the USA to participate in the 25th session of the United Nations Committee for Public Administration (CEPA). The session will be held in New York from April 13-17. CEPA is the UN advisory body that studies and makes recommendations to improve governance and public administration structures.
During the visit, Minister of Justice Paata Salia will hold meetings with the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations.
