The Minister of Justice of Georgia, Paata Salia, spoke about the model of public service delivery and digital transformation of services in Georgia at the UN Forum in Tbilisi.

The UN Public Services Forum continues in a round table format. The Minister of Justice responded to the delegates’ questions and emphasized the need to develop physical and digital infrastructure to provide universal access to public services nationwide.
Specifically, it was noted that there are 127 customer-oriented justice houses across the country for public and private services and 20 mobile justice houses in 90 villages to overcome geographical barriers; services are available in open justice houses in penitentiary institutions; ethnic minorities’ needs are provided for services; more than 400 public And private service is available online On the electronic portal MY.GOV.GE; there is a “smart contract“, which is a remote means of registering private property; and the digital transformation of services, approved by the digital governance strategy document of Georgia 2025-2030.
“We will continue to innovate, expand, and improve our services to keep public services accessible, operational, and citizen-oriented,” Paata Salia said.
Notably, on June 23-25, Tbilisi will host the United Nations Public Services Forum, where world leaders will discuss citizen-oriented, innovative public services with international experts.
According to a brief note from the Justice Ministry of Georgia, holding a high-level forum in Tbilisi is an international recognition of the successful reforms Georgia has been implementing for years to develop affordable and effective public services.
