Tbilisi: The Ministry of Defence of Georgia has announced that the Special Operations Forces will be providing an 8-week initial combat training course to Georgian citizens aged between 18 to 30 years.
Upon completion of the course, the participants will be given an opportunity to further complete Ranger, Parachute and Special Purpose courses. Not only this, the Successful trainees will have an opportunity to become one of the special operations forces fighters.
As per the updates from the Georgian Defence Ministry, the initial deposited salary for enrollment in the 8-week training course is 1530 Gel;
☛ After the completion of the ranger course, the fee amount of 250 GEL will be deposited,
– And after one has passed the ranger and special purpose course, the supplement will be – 750 GEL.
It is noteworthy that the hike in salaries would depend on the rank, position and military experience they possess. Additionally, after the end of the first contract, the military will receive 5,000 GEL as a one-time supplement;
☛ For the next 2 years of the contract, it would be 3,000 GEL and 8000 GEL for a 4-year contract.
Notably, the special operation force fighters will be provided with the modern equipment and high-level free medical services to ensure their well being throughout their time in the Georgian forces.
Also, the military will have the opportunity to learn a foreign language and get qualified abroad in different courses.
The registration process for the initial combat training course have begun at the following locations, namely- Tbilisi, Gori, Telavi, Senaki, Kutaisi, Batumi, Kobuleti and Mukhrovani.
