Georgia: The Ministry of Culture and Sports of Georgia honors Ruslan Mikaberidze’s memory and contribution to the development of Georgian culture. 85 years have passed since the birth of an outstanding Georgian actor and honored artist of Georgia, Ruslan Mikaberidze.
Famous actor of theater and film Ruslan Mikaberidze worked at various times at the Nodar Dumbadze State Theater for Teenagers (1960-1970), Kote Marjanishvili State Dramatic Theater (1971-1972), and from 1972 – at Shota Rustaveli State Academic Theater.
It is noteworthy from the roles he played in the theater of teen spectators: Shura (s. Mikhalkov’s “Sombrero”), Valentino (U.
Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night”), Spiridon (Vazha-Pshavela’s “title”), Sailor (H. Andersen’s “Snow Queen”), Chameleon (m. Mashadu’s “Brazilian Saunge”), Ruindan (b. Show “Devil’s Disciple”), Dzerzhinski (D. Taktakishvili’s “Nevi Fountain”), Kikvidze (v. Daraseli “Division No16”), long Gaiozi (R. Mamulashvili’s “Uncle Elioz”) and others.
The actor also created exciting faces in the Marjanishvili State Dramatic Theater: Petrionius (J. Fletcher’s “Punishment of a needy husband”), officer (f. Ruslan Mikaberidze’s films are exciting and memorable. The film debut of the actor was in the Uzbek film “White, white crows“ (A. Khamraev, 1967) played a role. In 1972, he started his activity in the “Georgian Film” film studio.
