Russia-Ukraine War: Ukraine has received IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile systems as well as 30 Dingo armoured vehicles from Germany. Additionally, Germany has sent military aid packages that include anti-drone sensors, 42 demining vehicles and the rest of the essentials that the Ukrainian army needs right now.
While publicizing this information, a member of the Ukrainian Parliament, Halyna Yanchenko has expressed her gratitude towards Germany for assisting Ukraine at this crucial point in time.
Ukraine has already been strengthening its position in the ongoing conflict against Russia. The Russian forces have started to retreat from the strategic city of Kherson, which itself is symbolic of the Ukrainian victory in these regions.
Meanwhile, Ukraine has been garnering support from many countries that have called out the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to put the quickest possible end to the war.
Earlier on Wednesday, the death of the Moscow-installed deputy head of Kherson, Kirill Stremousov, was reported in a car crash. However, the circumstances haven’t been certain.
At the same time, the deputy director of the Atlantic Council, Melinda Haring, has urged Ukraine, not to settle for any negotiations with Russia and has called on for supporting Ukraine with the ATACMS and HIMARS, tanks and air defence systems that the country requires.
The Ukrainian army had been longing for the high-precision and long-range weaponry to tackle the Russian aerial attacks that it has been launching from its domestic as well as its neighbouring Belarusian territory.
